Placement Services
The Ballymun Job Centre Placement service is an important advocacy route for our clients, opening the doorway to employment opportunities for the job seeker that they would not otherwise have.
The Placement service involves the following:
- developing links, relationships and contacts with employers in the Dublin area
- obtaining job orders and promoting the service
- processing job orders notified to the Job centre
- selecting, notifying and preparing clients for interview
- updating and adjusting of CVs at the request of clients
The Ballymun Job Centre Placement Team
The Placement Team consists of one Employment Officer - Joan McCabe and two Placement Officers - Pat Kavanagh and Peter Seery.
The aim of the Placement Team is to obtain jobs that will generate sustainable employment for the clients of the Ballymun Job Centre, while providing a professional placement service to employers and assisting them with their recruitment needs.
