The Ballymun Job Centre is proud and excited to introduce our training and development listing for 2006/2007. We aim to help you to make the right choices - whether it's to take up employment, training or a change in your career.
As a direct result of the programmes that we ran last year, over 300 local people gained valuable skills and qualifications which enabled them to move into employment or continue with further education.
In recognising and responding to your needs, and using our awareness of employers' labour requirements, we are planning to add several new and innovative programmes to the centre's already extensive number of courses. All our courses and programmes offer recognised certification.
An important feature in participating in most of our programmes is that your benefit payment will not be affected and in many cases you will receive a training allowance.
As you are aware, this is a community of change, and people are the most important part of the change. Taking the first step can seem the most difficult, but it need not be!. Why not drop in and talk to one our our staff and get advice on what's on offer to you?
